ALPENA, Mich. – The No. 19 Mid Michigan College men's basketball team extended their winning streak to 13 on Saturday with a 96-62 victory on the road at Alpena. Mid is now 15-3 overall and 5-0 in MCCAA Northern Conference play.
James Wright scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Amonti Greene had 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
De'Antre Griffin and Joe Iung added 11 points each, while Vynce Overshown posted 12 points off the bench.
The Lumberjacks (1-13, 0-5) were led by Chas Stanek with 22 points.
As a team, the Lakers shot 33-of-70 (47.1%) from the field and 11-of-39 (28.2%) from three-point range. Mid was also 19-of-21 (90.5%) from the free throw line.
Mid will host Muskegon at 7:30 PM Wednesday inside Morey Courts.
