SIDNEY, Mich. – Rachel Resio scored 21 points as the No. 6 Mid Michigan College women's basketball team completed a season sweep of Montcalm on Wednesday (Feb. 5) night. The Lakers (20-2, 8-0 MCCAA North) defeated the host Centurions (3-13, 2-5 MCCAA North) 115-49.
Resio also had five rebounds, while Alexus Dunn posted 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
Addysen Gray added 14 points, while Paige Ebels had 12, and Jenna Butcher 10.
Makenna Rautio had a game high 22 points for Montcalm, while also pulling down eight rebounds.
Mid shot 47-of-89 (52.8%) from the field, and outrebounded the Centurions 47-25.
The Lakers host North Central Michigan on Saturday (Feb. 8) at 1:00 PM from Morey Courts.
