Bio

Coach House has been at the helm of the Laker Men's Basketball program since 2012. During that time he has helped lead the program and athletics at Mid Michigan College since its first season as an NJCAA program and from non-scholarship NJCAA Division III into the MCCAA and NJCAA Division II. During his tenure Mid has moved players on to NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and USCAA programs after they have left our program. House holds an overall record of 158-124 (through 2022-23 season). 

A Mt. Pleasant native and Mt. Pleasant High School graduate, House currently teaches for Mt. Pleasant Public Schools. He played basketball at Kirtland Community College for two years, acting as team captain for the Firebirds' 2003-04 season. After his time at Kirtland, House spent two years playing for Aquinas College, receiving NAIA Academic All-American status his senior year.

House coached the varsity basketball team at Beal City for four seasons, leading those teams to 2nd place conference finishes in three of those four years. He had an impressive 57-28 overall record while coaching at Beal City.

House and his wife, Carrie, currently reside in Mount Pleasant with their two sons Carter and Kolman.
