MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Joe Iung scored 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting, and the Mid Michigan College men's basketball team defeated Bay College 113-97 on Saturday afternoon at Morey Courts.
The Lakers (18-3, 7-0 MCCAA North) finished the first half of conference play undefeated, and took a two game lead over the second place Norse (16-5, 5-2 MCCAA North).
Iung added three assists and three steals, while Vynce Overshown had 21 points off the bench.
James Wright added 19 points and 11 rebounds, De'Antre Griffin and Amonti Greene scored 17 points each.
Ryan Sweeney led Bay with 26 points.
Mid opens the second half of conference play Wednesday night at Montcalm. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM.
