Bowling Teams Earn Victories at SC4

PORT HURON, Mich. – The Mid Michigan College bowling teams both took first place at the MCCAA Eastern Conference event last Friday. The event was hosted at Port Huron Lanes with SC4 serving as the host school. 

On the men's side the Lakers finished with a total team score of 4564, 276 better than second place Schoolcraft. Noah Spannagel finished with a high game of 245 and a total series of 681 to take home first place individually for the Lakers. 

For the women Mid finished with a total of 4035, 620 ahead of Schoolcraft. Mya Jarvis led the Lakers individually in second place with a high game of 191 and total series of 533.

Both bowling teams are currently first in the overall standings of the MCCAA Eastern Conference. The women are 19 ahead of Schoolcraft while the men are tied with the Ocelots for first place. 

The Lakers will host the next MCCAA event at Riverwood Resort on Friday (Jan. 31) at 11:00 AM.
