Lakers Dominate Delta, Now 4-0 in MCCAA North

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Chloe Watson scored a career high 32 points, and the No. 6 Mid Michigan College women's basketball team (16-2, 4-0 MCCAA North) rolled to a 137-46 MCCAA Northern Conference victory over Delta College (5-11, 2-2 MCCAA North) on Wednesday (Jan. 22) night inside Morey Courts.

Watson was 12-of-15 from the field and 7-of-9 from three-point range as the Lakers bested their previous school record of 135 points set earlier this year against North Central Michigan. 

Rachel Resio added 16 points, 10 assists, and seven steals. Addysen Gray added 14 points while Paige Ebels scored 13.

Delaney Seaman posted 12 points off the bench, Alexus Dunn added 13, and Grace Chinavare scored 15. 

Mid shot a blistering 20-of-43 (46.5%) from three-point land, while shooting 54-of-88 (61.4%) from the field overall. 

The Lakers travel to Alpena on Saturday (Jan. 25) with tipoff scheduled for 1:00 PM.
