Women's Basketball Drops First Conference Game in Season Finale

The Lakers dropped their final game of the conference slate on the road to Muskegon 52-65. This was their first blemish on the conference record. They finished the regular season at 13-1 in the conference season and 24-4 overall. The Lakers were led by Bailey Vissman who scored 17 points in the road loss. As the winner of the Northern Conference, the Lady Lakers were invited to compete for the MCCAA State Championship. They will look to bounce back, versus Kalamazoo Valley in the first round of the State Championship Tournament on Saturday, 3/4.
